The evening included readings, book signings and samplings of food related to the books. Eric Dregni presented a slide show of food discoveries he made during his year in Modena, the subject of his book.
Slow Food Minnesota provided two master cheesemakers cheeses: Sartori Bellavitano raspberry, which is infused with raspberry beer and Creama Kasa
by Carr Valley, a triple-cream cows milk cheese to complement The Master Cheesemakers of Wisconsin and a mixed vegetable slaw from The Minnesota Table. Broders Cucina Italiana provided a platter of meats and cheeses from Emilia Romagna to represent Eric Dregnis book.
In addition, attendees brought potluck dishes.
